Expression of Truth & Beauty
This project applied the relationship between form and function to an already existing structure. This was done by adding in a multi-hinge household object and successfully integrating it with the 30'x40' bridge opening.

Preliminary Design/
Transformation Process
The mechanism chosen for this project was an ice cream scooper paired with the Minato Bridge. The hinge is used to move the road outward on both sides of the bridge. The pulley systems are used in order to pull down the handle.
